Design elaborate contraptions, where the longer a ball lives, the better. Inspired by Rube Goldberg machines, Over Engineered lets you craft sprawling machines where complexity is the goal. With over 60+ machine parts, the amount of madness you can build is limitless.
Over engineered is my most recent project, which spans from May 2025 to present. It has the sole focus of being a function-complete game, with quality at par with market. This includes me developing everything from programming, art, UI, and even marketing on Youtube, TikTok, and Reddit. It combines all my previous attempts and skills accumulated thus far and is set to publish at the turn of the new year.
STELLAR RAMPAGE
A fastpace roguelike shoot-em up where you use the velocity of your weapon to propel yourself through space. Eliminate an onslaught of aliens to unlock new abilities, weapons, and gear.
In the spring of 2025, me and a team of 3 others developed Stellar Rampage. A Monogame driven game where we built the components to run our game on. This includes a new particle system, flexboxes, UI managers, sounds, scenes and so on. We built a demo prototype that is equipped with a full gameplay loop as well as a boss finale as a last grand hurrah.
As one of the key developers in this project, my job was building the ground components. I built the systems responsible for visual effects, data management as well as the many other UI/UX driven elements. This game never saw further production; however it did serve to help give me a baseline for working in a small team, as well as give me vast experience with lower level development beyond that of a standard engine.
Plinko Paradise
A short game of plinko madness. Use sap drops to build your wealth. Purchase new drops, pegs, animals and more to help build up your board.
Plinko Paradise is a compact but fully realized game with a cohesive visual and gameplay style.Developed entirely solo, I used this project to build a suite of reusable systems and assets, including a dynamic settings framework and a responsive UI canvas system.These tools now serve as the foundation for faster, more efficient development in my future projects.
Despite its short length, it has been well-received by players and remains available to play on itch
